Bishkek, Dec.20, 2019./Kabar/. KGS 799.3 million have been allotted from the Single Deposit Account for the construction of 15 schools, Erkin Abdyrazakov, head of the Chui Oblast Capital Construction Department of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Kyrgyzstan said at the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
According to his data, due to internal migration, more than 2,000 children study in schools instead of the 375 due to which the schoolchildren study in three shifts.
"To date, construction work has begun on 9 sites from 15 schools, three sites have been identified by contractors, and two of them underwent through a bit opening,” he said.
In July this year, KGS 799.3 million has been allocated for the construction of 15 schools and additional school buildings in Chui Oblast, Bishkek and Osh cities for 2019. Funds were allocated from the Single Deposit Account for the fight against corruption.
Since July 2019, funding for the construction of schools was opened through the Single Deposit Account. The first tranche has made KGS 15 million.
