Bishkek, Feb. 1, 2019. /Kabar/. Since the very first days of joining the EAEU, Kyrgyzstan has been actively working in the field of digital integration, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev told at the Digital Agenda into the Globalization Era 2.0 forum.
The head of Government, thanking the Kazakh side for the warm welcome, hospitality and excellent organization of the Forum, noted that the event is another opportunity to discuss and share views on current and future areas of digital transformation, and talk about events held in Kyrgyzstan.
“In order to develop technological startups and master new information technologies, the five-year Digital Kyrgyzstan digital transformation concept has been developed and approved in Kyrgyzstan,” the Prime Minister said.
Abylgaziev noted that in the end, the concept should lead to a complete transition to the provision of high-quality digital public services and an increase in the digital skills of the population, as well as economic development and improvement of citizens' welfare through the digital transformation of the economy.
He said that a lot of work has been done in the framework of the creation and operation of the information system of foreign and mutual trade of the EAEU.
“Today, a number of our state bodies exchange information in real time with state bodies of the EAEU countries through the integration gateway,” he noted.
The Prime Minister stressed that the Kyrgyz Republic also actively participates in the implementation of the priorities of the Union’s Digital Agenda. Representatives of the business community from the Kyrgyz Republic submitted several initiatives, including:
- Integration of electronic trading platforms of the EAEU countries;
- Creation of a single credit rating platform and exchange of credit data.
“I am sure that such events will give a positive impetus to the development of digital integration,” Abylgaziev said.
