Bishkek, Nov. 7, 2018. /Kabar/. Prime Minister Muhammedkaliy Abylgaziev met with Deputy General Director of China Gold Corporation Jiang Liangyou.
During the meeting, issues related to preparations for the upcoming December launch of Kichi-Charaat plant in Chatkal region of Jalal-Abad oblast were discussed.
Abylgaziyev noted that the government pays special attention to the protection of investments and always supports conscientious investors who intend to work in Kyrgyzstan in accordance with the law and in compliance with all environmental standards and requirements.
“The People’s Republic of China is our strategic partner, good neighbor and close friend, the Kyrgyz-Chinese cooperation is at a very high level,” the Prime Minister said, noting the fruitfulness of President Sooronbay Jeenbekov’s state visit to China this summer.
In turn, Jiang Liangyou said that at present all the preparations for the successful commissioning of Kichi-Chaarat CJSC plant in December of this year were completed and thanked the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic for their assistance. He also told the Prime Minister about the future plans of the company to invest in other sectors of the economy.
Abylgaziyev stressed that thanks to the work being done to create favorable conditions for investment, new production facilities are being opened in Kyrgyzstan and a number of important investment projects are being implemented, which has a positive impact on the socio-economic development of the regions and the economy as a whole.
10.5 billion soms have already been invested in the development of Kuru-Tegerek mine field, about 500 jobs have been created. After the start of the processing plant, the company intends to further increase the volume of investments and the number of jobs.
