Bishkek, Apr. 5, 2020. /Kabar/. After a two-day working trip to Osh and Dzhalal-Abad Oblasts, Kyrgyzstan’s Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev, as well as other 12 members of the delegation passed rapid tests to detect a coronavirus infection, the press service of the Government reported.
Immediately after arriving in Bishkek from region with poor epidemiological situation, all members of the delegation passed a rapid test to detect coronavirus.
None of them were found to have the novel coronavirus. In order to minimize the risks, all of them were sent to home quarantine for three days.
Staff of the Office of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, involved in operational work to coordinate efforts in the fight against coronavirus, also passed rapid tests for COVID-19.
As of Apr.5, the number of coronavirus cases in Kyrgyzstan has reached 147, 9 of them are medical workers.
One militiaman has been placed under observation with suspicion of COVID-19.
Two coronavirus-related deaths were registered in the republic.
In Kyrgyzstan, the first COVID-19 cases were revealed on March18 in residents of Dzhalal-Abad Oblast after arrival from Umrah in Saudi Arabia.
