Almaty, Feb.1, 2020./Kabar/. Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev met with Moldovan Prime Minister Ion Chicu on the margins of the regular meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIGC) in Kazakhstan' Almaty.
PM Abylgaziev said the two countries have historical friendly relations and modern democratic achievements on the path of building a free society and parliamentary republics.
"The Kyrgyz Republic is interested in developing mutually beneficial and partnership cooperation with Moldova in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields, as well as in multilateral cooperation through international organizations and regional associations," Abylgaziev said, stressing the importance of boosting the bilateral cooperation.
According to him, in the context of the development of economic partnership between the two countries, the holding of investment and business forums, as well as the participation of interested companies in exhibitions and fairs, held in the territory of the sides, is seen as promising.
The Kyrgyz side advocated the expansion of interagency cooperation in education, science, tourism, information, sports and youth policy between the two countries.
For his part, Moldovan Prime Minister Ion Chicu said he was pleased to meet and to have the opportunity to discuss the bilateral relations in different fields.
"We are interested in developing cooperation with Kyrgyz companies and ready to implement joint projects.
I think our meeting will give a new impetus to the trade and economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation," he concluded.
The Kyrgyz delegation, headed by PM Abylgaziev, attended the regular meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Almaty.
Also, Deputy PM of the country Jenish Razakov took part in the "Digital Almaty: the Digital Future in the Global Economy" Forum.
