Bishkek, Dec. 20, 2018. /Kabar/. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziyev held a meeting on the implementation of the decision of the Kyrgyz Security Council on measures for digital development of the country, the press service of the Kyrgyz Government Office reported.

During the meeting, the head of government stressed that at the meeting of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic chaired by President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov, the Concept of Digital Transformation was adopted and clear objectives were set for digital development and the earliest transition of all ministries and departments to electronic services.

The Prime Minister recalled the importance of the successful implementation of the Tunduk project, which will improve the efficiency of state bodies, eradicate corruption and remove all bureaucratic barriers for citizens and businesses.

“It is necessary to transfer all sectors of the economy to a digital platform; first of all it concerns the provision of public services. 189 types of public services for citizens and businesses should be provided in electronic format. This is a good deal of demanding work that requires a lot of effort, time and money. At the same time, we need to mobilize all resources, draw up a detailed work plan and achieve its precise implementation,” Abylgaziyev said.

The Prime Minister noted that according to the results of an analysis, it is clear that not all state bodies are taking adequate measures to ensure timely transition to the Tunduk system.

“At the end of the year it will be clear who and how is working in this direction and what has already been done. There should be a clear understanding that transition to the Tunduk system is a priority for all state bodies. We need to gradually move to the electronic format, as this will help to overcome corruption and bring the economy to a qualitatively new level. Thanks to digital transformation, many pressing problems of our citizens and entrepreneurs will be solved. For its part, the government is committed to attracting all the necessary resources to ensure the qualitative advancement of the digital transformation. This is not an easy project, but it is necessary for our citizens and the country to develop its economy,” Abylgaziyev said.

The head of government instructed all the state bodies to ensure transition to the Tunduk system with synchronization of all databases by July 1, 2019, stressing that the heads of state bodies would be personally responsible for the tasks set.
