Bishkek, Dec. 23, 2020. /Kabar/. Acting Prime Minister and First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Artem Novikov inspected the construction of the Agro Kush poultry farm in Balykchy town during a working visit to Issyk-Kul Oblast of the country.

The poultry farm is a full production cycle, including a hatchery, fattening and harvesting of chilled poultry meat.
The enterprise is designed to produce 4.6 million broilers per year and process 12,500 tons of meat per year.

According to the acting PM, full operation of the poultry farm will cover the needs of the domestic market for poultry meat by 30%, as well as to reduce the share of poultry meat imports and to improve food security of the country.
As a result of the meeting, the issue of resumption of funding by the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund from Dec. 24 this year has been resolved, and the relevant schedule has been drawn up. In the case of funding, the preliminary start of enterprise is scheduled for Jan. 15, 2021, and the products themselves will appear on the shelves in April 2021.

During the visit, leaders of the poultry farm announced further plans to expand production.
