Acting PM of Kyrgyzstan and head of EEC exchange views on prospects for cooperation

Bishkek, Jan. 28, 2021 / Kabar /. Acting Prime Minister, First Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Artem Novikov met with Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Mikhail Myasnikovich, who arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic to participate in the inauguration of President Sadyr Zhaparov.

The government’s press service said that during the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of building up interactions between the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), as well as the work carried out by the EEC to eliminate barriers, exemptions and restrictions in mutual trade within the EAEU.

The sides exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation and implementation of projects in economic, industrial and agricultural cooperation and discussed the items on the agenda of the upcoming meeting of the EEC Council and the intergovernmental council, scheduled for Feb. 5 this year in the city of Almaty (Kazakhstan).
