Bishkek, Nov. 27, 2020. /Kabar/. Acting President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Speaker of the Parliament Talant Mamytov met on Friday with members of the Council for Business and Entrepreneurship Development under the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament).
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Parliament, the event was attended by MPs, heads of government agencies and representatives of business associations.
Parliament Speaker Mamytov noted the need for quality reforms in the country, the use of innovative methods to develop the national economy.
"Many of our compatriots have really good business ideas and good programs for the development of specific sectors of the economy. But, unfortunately, the state does not provide adequate support to many promising projects. I suggest using this platform to address this problem and to discuss the most interesting projects aimed at contributing to the state development,” Mamytov noted.
A number of issues were considered during the meeting, including the current construction project of Kambarata HPP-1 and options for its implementation.
According to Head of the National Energy Holding Nurbek Kozubekov, the construction of HPP-1 and the commissioning of hydroelectric power plant with a capacity of 1860 MW and an average annual production of 5.64 billion kWh of electricity will create a real opportunity to meet the high rate of growth of domestic electricity needs of the country and cover peak loads in the power system, as well as increase export potential, taking into account the obligations of the Kyrgyz Republic under the project CASA-1000.
Besides, the acting president was informed about implementation of current investment projects in the sphere of hydropower.
Deputy Chairman of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Association for Assistance and Cooperation Development Syrgak Kenzhebayev presented a project on development of organic agriculture and increase of export potential of the country.
According to him, switching on organic agriculture will allow farmers earn more than KGS 1 million from 1 hectare of land.
At the same time, another representative of this association Mer Kumenova presented the project "Renovation of Kyrgyz Post, development of electronic commerce".
It is assumed that the renewal of Kyrgyz Post in a competitive and modern organization with access to the world e-commerce market will unleash the potential of geographical advantage of Kyrgyzstan in postal and courier deliveries.
Former MP Akunaly Dosaliyev presented the project "Tash Zhol" (stone roads) to improve road infrastructure in rural areas.
"The peculiarity of the project is that the stone roads will be cheaper up to 55% of asphalt concrete roads, much more environmentally friendly, the service life will be much longer and, most importantly, the stone material will be available in every region of the country," Dosaliyev noted.
At the end of the meeting, members of the Council for Business and Entrepreneurship Development under the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh voiced their recommendations and comments.
