Bishkek, Apr. 1, 2020 / Kabar /. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) donated 20 thousand medical gloves to the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, the ADB Representative Office in Kyrgyzstan said.
“The Asian Development Bank (ADB) today organized the delivery of 20 thousand medical gloves to the warehouse of the Ministry of Health, as part of emergency medical assistance, which ADB approved in the amount of USD 200 thousand to help Kyrgyzstan purchase medicines and equipment to support intensive care units in the country through the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF),” the report said.
Additional assistance will also be provided through UNICEF to support the procurement of equipment for hospitals and quarantine centers.
