ADB to allocate USD 32 mln to provide villages of Naryn Oblast with clean drinking water

Naryn, July 18, 2022. /Kabar/. According to the project of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), 43 villages of Kyrgyzstan’s Naryn Oblast will be provided with clean drinking water. The total amount of the project is $32 million.

The first phase of the project included 28 villages of Naryn, At-Bashy, Ak-Talaa, Dzhumgal, Kochkor regions. Construction works in the villages included in the first phase will begin in early second quarter of 2023 and will be completed in 2024.

A total of 15 villages of Naryn, Kochkor, Ak-Talaa regions were included in the second phase of the ADB project. The second phase of the project will start in 2024, and in 2026 all works of the second phase of the project will be completed.
