Additional beds for patients with community-acquired pneumonia deployed in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, June 30, 2020. /Kabar/. Additional places for patients with community - acquired pneumonia have been deployed in Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Health Minister Mademin Karatayev said at a briefing.

According to him, the National Hospital has deployed 120 beds for them and 130 beds at the hospital's urology complex.

"To date, 89 of them are occupied," he said. In addition, Karatayev noted that the City Clinical Hospital (CCH) has also deployed 90 beds and its surgical department has another 90 beds for patients with community - acquired pneumonia.

Karatayev added 200 beds have been deployed at the Gansi base.

"At the moment, work is underway to prepare an additional 400 beds for patients with average disease severity and for those who need hospitalization," said the deputy head.
