The head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that the economic and social reforms that are being carried out under the leadership of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, the change in the political situation require the development of a clear plan not only for 2025, but also until 2030. He added that the work plan until 2026 was completed ahead of schedule.
"The Jogorku Kenesh recognized the work of the Cabinet of Ministers as satisfactory. Positive opinions are also expressed in the international arena about the changes in Kyrgyzstan. For example, the Secretary General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres expressed admiration for the efforts and pace that Kyrgyzstan is demonstrating on the path to development. People's trust in the president, the work of the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as efforts to combat corruption and crime has increased. Over the past 4 years, thanks to fiscal reform, digitalization and the fight against corruption, we have managed to replenish the country's budget with revenues and turn the deficit into a surplus. We were able to significantly increase the salaries of teachers, doctors, cultural workers, military personnel, law enforcement officers, as well as pensions and benefits. This allowed the state to fully perform its functions," he said.
Adylbek Kasymaliev noted positive changes in the structure of the economy, digitalization of public services, economic diplomacy and social policy issues.
The chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that according to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee for January-December 2024, the country's GDP exceeded 1.5 trillion soms, and compared to 2023, growth was 9%. This rate is not only maintained, but should also improve.
"If the agreement on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border is signed, 2025 will be a historic year when the territorial integrity of the state finally determined. In 2025, the National Development Program for the period up to 2030 will be adopted. Within the framework of this program, a plan for the next 6 years will be determined. Our goals are to increase the efficiency of public administration, improving the well-being of the people, developing human potential, developing strategic sectors of the economy, implementing national projects. Over the past 4 years, a solid foundation for the state has been laid. Kyrgyzstan has worthily passed the first stage of development. With the adoption of the program until 2030, we are entering the second stage of development. Time, order, decisions are the basis of our work," he concluded.
