Afghanistan does not accept continuation of armed clashes on Kyrgyz-Tajik border

Bishkek, May 4, 2021. / Kabar /. The Afghan government does not accept the continuation of armed clashes between the governments and peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan and stands for peace and stability in the region, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan said.

According to the information published on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan:

“The Afghan government does not accept the continuation of armed clashes between the governments and peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan and stands for peace and stability in the region. The Government of Afghanistan expresses its deep condolences to friendly and fraternal Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan in connection with the loss of life due to this conflict and believes that the problem that has arisen can be completed only through negotiations and the search for political and peaceful solutions."
