Within the framework of admission to the Eurasian Economic Union, Kyrgyzstan was able to stabilize its economy, Ambassador of Russia to Kyrgyzstan Nikolay Udovichenko sad at “The Kyrgyz Republic in the Eurasian Economic Union: results, experience and prospects” conference.
In addition, he said Kyrgyzstan has received an objective improvement in external trade relations, as evidenced by the growth in exports.
"Thanks to the mechanism that was created during the formation of the EAEU, Kyrgyzstan has begun to restore its production base. Sugar factories have been put into operation, and new production in the textile and knitwear industries has been launched," he said.
The Russian ambassador to Kyrgyzstan also noted that within the framework of the Kyrgyz Republic's membership in the EAEU, the borders are being arranged and veterinary and phytosanitary laboratories are being equipped.
"What does the EAEU do for ordinary citizens? First of all, it is the creation of equal conditions for working life, and the issue of pension provision," he added.
The purpose of “The Kyrgyz Republic in the Eurasian Economic Union: results, experience and prospects” conference is to provide relevant information on the reforms carried out by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, following the accession of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Eurasian Economic Union.
