Agreement for development of social services signed in Bishkek

Bishkek, May 3, 2019 / Kabar /. Minister of Labor and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Kochkorov and Head of the Institute of Childhood Public Foundation Nurzhamal Ibrayeva signed an agreement on cooperation, aimed at the effective development of social services for the population, the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development reported.

As part of the cooperation agreement, the Institute of Childhood Public Foundation will conduct a public awareness campaign on the draft law on social services being developed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development in order to promote opportunities for public participation in the development of recommendations to the draft law.

The new concept of social services and the Law on social services under development is innovative for the Kyrgyz Republic, state bodies and local authorities. Its adoption will entail the creation of a new system of social services, which allows expanding the coverage of the population with social services, while ensuring that social services meet the individual needs and requirements of groups of the population.
