Bishkek, July 2, 2024. /Kabar/. An investment agreement was reached on the overhaul and modernization of the China Petrol LLC oil refinery of the Junda company, the National Investment Agency (NIA) under the President of Kyrgyzstanreported.
The agreement was signed today by NIA Director Talantbek Imanov and Chairman of the Board of Central Asian Energy Company LLC Huang Qiang.
The total investment amounted to more than 160 million US dollars.
The investment agreement is aimed at implementing a project for the overhaul and modernization of an oil refinery for the production of gasoline, diesel fuel and liquefied gas in the Chui region.
The implementation of this project will lead to a significant improvement in the technical condition of the oil refinery, which will help increase its productivity and efficiency.
The construction of the Chinese Oil Company Junda LLC is currently one of the largest investment projects in Kyrgyzstan.
