Agricultural production in EAEU grows by 2.8% in 2 months of 2023

Bishkek, April 10, 2023. / Kabar /. In January-February 2023, agricultural production in the Eurasian Economic Union in farms of all categories increased by 2.8% compared to the same period last year.

According to data of the Eurasian Economic Commission, growth was observed in Kazakhstan - by 3.9%, Belarus - by 2.9%, Russia - by 2.7% and Kyrgyzstan - by 1.8%.

In particular, the production of the main livestock products increased: livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) - by 3.5%, milk - by 3.6%, eggs - by 3.1%.

The Eurasian Economic Union consists of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
