Bishkek, Jan. 20, 2022. / Kabar /. Minister of Agriculture Askarbek Dzhanybekov told what products Kyrgyzstan is forced to import.
During a briefing in Bishkek he said that at the moment, almost all products are available in the country. Kyrgyzstan provides itself with dairy products and vegetables.
“We import eggs by 50%, sugar - by 55%, vegetable oil by 75%, various types of meat by 32%, and wheat by 55%. We are still dependent on imports for all these types of products,” the minister said.
At the same time, he noted that in case of an emergency, the country will be able to consistently provide the population at regulated prices for 3 months.
