Bishkek, Jan. 8, 2021 / Kabar /. At the request of citizens, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation of Kyrgyzstan, together with the Bishkek Mayor's Office and the government of the republic, is resuming agricultural fairs, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture said.
The first fair in 2021 will start on Jan. 9 in Bishkek.
Selling prices at wholesale prices to support citizens remains an important criterion for the fair. More than 40 companies are expected to take part in the event.
“Previous fairs received a good response from residents and became in demand among Kyrgyzstanis. And most importantly, our domestic farmers were satisfied and were able to sell their products. Therefore, we will continue and introduce this practice everywhere, covering all regions of the republic,” said Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation of the Kyrgyz Republic Tilek Toktogaziev.
The fair will feature the following products: meat products, sunflower oil, eggs, fish, flour, rice, milk products, sausages,vegetables,fruits, drinks.
