Bishkek, Nov. 14, 2018. /Kabar/. An exhibition of agricultural exhibits, special vehicles and equipment was opened Wednesday in Bishkek at the Old Square.
In the official part of the event, First Vice Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov spoke. He noted that today the citizens of Kyrgyzstan all witnessed an important event that proves that the agricultural potential of the country is increasing.
“With entry into the EAEU, competition in the multi-million dollar market has intensified and we need to modernize and renew the agricultural park,” said Boronov.
One of the exhibitors representative of the Rostselmash Russian company Andrei Kolesnikov told that in Kyrgyzstan they presented a new Nova grain harvester, which replaced the Niva combine.
“Starting this year, we will actively sell it in Kyrgyzstan, I’ll note that our machine has been designed for small axial fields with difficult terrain. All grain harvesting equipment is sold in the Kyrgyz Republic through leasing on preferential terms,” Kolesnikov said.
The participant also added that while about 20 machines are sold per year in the Kyrgyz Republic, Russian entrepreneurs are planning on occupying about 80% of the market.
