Bishkek, Apr. 11, 2020 / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov had a phone conversation with Minister for European Neighborhood and the Americas, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the deputy of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Wendy Morton.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that during the conversation, they discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as joint efforts to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Aidarbekov thanked the British side for extending visas to Kyrgyz citizens who remained in the United Kingdom in connection with the cancellation of international flights.
The parties noted the importance of enhancing practical interaction in the fight against coronavirus infection and its negative socio-economic consequences.
