Aidarbekov will take part in meeting of CSTO Ministerial Council in Astana

Bishkek, Nov. 7, 2018 / Kabar /. Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Chyngyz Aidarbekov will take part in the joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Ministers of Defense and the Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states, which is held on Nov. 8 in Astana.

During the event, the sides will discuss a number of documents and issues to further strengthen cooperation within the Organization, submitted to the CSTO Collective Security Council.

A session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization will be held in Astana on Nov. 8. The Council includes the heads of the CSTO member states: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.

Currently, the CSTO is chaired by the Kazakh side. The Council is chaired by President Nursultan Nazarbayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
