Bishkek, Oct. 6, 2023. / Kabar /. Member of the Kyrgyz national women's wrestling team Aiperi Medet kyzy won a gold medal at the Asian Games in China.
Medet kyzy competed in the weight category up to 76 kg.
The Kyrgyzstani athlete defeated the Chinese representative in the first bout at the 1/8 final stage, and then defeated the Vietnamese ahead of schedule. In the semi-finals, she defeated an athlete from Chinese Taipei ahead of schedule and reached the final.
In the final, Medet kyzy met with an athlete from Kazakhstan, Zhamilya Bakbergenova, and in a bitter fight defeated her with a score of 7:4.
