Akylbek Zhaparov about his working visit to UAE

Bishkek, Dec. 15, 2021. / Kabar /. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov, during a public hearing of the draft Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On public procurement", told about his working visit of to the United Arab Emirates.

He said that the main purpose of the visit was to take part in the National Day of Kyrgyzstan within the framework of EXPO-2020.

“As part of the event, we saw and got acquainted with new technologies and innovative approaches from all countries participating in EXPO-2020. I hope that based on the results of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of EXPO 2020, we will adjust our 5-year plans to improve the well-being of our people, including through the opening of the National Sovereign Fund with an office in Dubai (UAE). In turn, over time, branches of the fund will also be opened in all financial centers of the world,” he said.

Within the framework of the working visit, the head of the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers met withMinister for Cabinet Affairs and the Future of the UAE and Minister for the Federal National Council of the UAE, and also discussed issues of bilateral cooperation with Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE.

In addition, Akylbek Zhaparov visited the high-techMasdar City eco-city in Abu Dhabi and the Smart City Center of the Dubai Police.
