Bishkek, Sept. 13, 2024. / Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexey Overchuk held a bilateral meeting.
"It is pleasant to note that Kyrgyz-Russian relations are at a very high level. There is a significant intensification of political, trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. The speeches and indicators announced at today's forum are clear evidence of this. Just 2 months ago, we successfully held the 25th meeting of our Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation in the city of Krasnoyarsk.
The 11th Kyrgyz-Russian Interregional Conference also achieved good results," said Akylbek Zhaparov.
Alexey Overchuk, in turn, noted that Russian-Kyrgyz relations are developing in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance, and emphasized the commitment to implementing previously reached agreements. The parties discussed current issues on the Kyrgyz-Russian agenda, the progress of implementing previously reached agreements, as well as prospects for further development of cooperation in a wide range of areas.
