Bishkek, April 19, 2024 / Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov, as part of his working visit to Washington (USA), met with the management of Citi Bank, the largest international bank.
During the meeting, the sides expressed their intention to continue cooperation and explore opportunities for further interaction in the field of finance and investment.
Citi Bank management expressed interest in supporting financial projects that contribute to economic development and strengthening financial stability in the republic.
The parties noted that this meeting will be the starting point for deepening the partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and Citi Bank.
In addition, Akylbek Zhaparov met with member of the board of Rotschild & Co Ariel Malar de Rothschild to discuss prospects for cooperation in the financial sector.
Issues regarding the development of the financial market, as well as measures to stimulate investment and support the development of the financial sector were discussed at the meeting.
The chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers emphasized the importance of developing partnerships with leading financial institutions, such as Rotschild & Co, to ensure sustainable economic growth and attract investment.
Rotschild & Co board member Ariel Malar de Rothschild expressed the company's interest in further cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic and supporting projects that contribute to the modernization of the economy and strengthening the financial system and the mining industry.
The parties confirmed their intention to continue the dialogue and explore opportunities for further cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
