Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic - Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov met with a delegation from Japan headed by Nakaba Chimura, head of global projects in the mining industry, consultant of Prime Planet Energy & Solutions, specializing in the production of prismatic lithium-ion batteries for cars.
According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, during the meeting the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, in particular in the mining industry.
In this context, Akylbek Zhaparov expressed interest in opening a Kyrgyz-Japanese faculty for the study of mining on the basis of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after Razzakov.
In turn, Nakaba Chimura shared his experience in implementing projects in the mining industry, noting the great potential of the Kyrgyz Republic in this direction.
