Bishkek, Nov. 10, 2021 . / Kabar / . Eurasian countries and European international financial institutions are ready to double funding for Kyrgyzstan, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Head of the Presidential Administration Akylbek Zhaparov said during the the StrategEast State and IT Eurasian Forum, which is taking place in Bishkek.
He noted that the Kyrgyz Government is clearly aware that it is quite difficult for each individual country to compete in the international digital field, to keep the niche found and to protect competitive advantages.
"We have already begun work on the regional aspect of digital transformation. Thus, the Central Asian region has a number of advantages, just the other day in the framework of the First European Union - Central Asia Economic Forum, a number of European countries and European international financial institutions announced the readiness to double funding for Kyrgyzstan," Zhaparov said.
The head of the Cabinet also pointed out that Kyrgyzstan, in turn, is ready to take the following benchmarks - green economy, creative economy and digital technology.
Bishkek is hosting the StrategEast State and IT Eurasian Forum. The event is held once a year in one of the Eurasian capitals and serves as a platform for dialogue between governments and IT industry leaders.
