Bishkek, March 11, 2023. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov, who is on a working visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, got acquainted with the activities of the Jizzakh free economic zone in the Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan.
The Jizzakh Free Economic Zone was established in March 2013.
Akylbek Zhaparov also visited the production facilities of the Basalt Wool enterprise, which produces high-quality insulation - basalt wool, which allows maintaining a stable indoor temperature at different times of the year.
The production area is 15,000 m², and currently employs about 200 specialists.
Further, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers got acquainted with the production line of the ADM Jizzakh plant, which is engaged in the SKD assembly of various models of KIA and Chery cars.
Up to 25,000 units of ten models of KIA and Chery cars are delivered to the market every year at the enterprise using the SKD method.
