During his working visit to the city of Abu Dhabi, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov held negotiations with Minister of Energy and Infrastructure - Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on cooperation between the UAE and the Kyrgyz Republic Suheil Al Mazrouei.
According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, during the meeting the sides discussed a wide range of issues of Kyrgyz-UAE cooperation.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers emphasized with satisfaction the effectiveness of mutual visits, including at the highest level, and added a readiness to discuss the implementation of the reached agreements.
In addition, the participants discussed the activities of the joint holding company “Abu Dhabi Kyrgyz Investment”, which will serve as the foundation for the further implementation of investment projects in the Kyrgyz Republic
In this context, the need to accelerate the practical launch of a joint holding company was emphasized.
Further, the sides discussed in detail the implementation of projects in energy, hydropower and the development of renewable energy sources, in particular the construction of a solar photovoltaic station in the Issyk-Kul region by Masdar was mentioned.
In conclusion, the final preliminary calculations of the project for the construction of a youth football academy in the Kyrgyz Republic were handed over to the Emirati side.
As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to accelerate all projects of mutual interest.
