Almaty, Feb. 2, 2024. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov interrupted his working visit to Almaty and flew to Bishkek in connection with the accident that occurred at the Bishkek thermal power plant.
Upon his arrival, a staff meeting will be held at the presidential administration.
Akylbek Zhaparov was in Almaty to participate in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and in the international digital forum “Digital Almaty 2024: Industry X”.
An accident at the Bishkek thermal power plant occurred on February 2 of this year at 3:00 o’clock, as a result of which the equipment failed.
In order to maintain the operation of the combined heat and power plant and heating networks, the supply of hot water to city residents has been suspended.
As a result of the accident, 3 employees were injured and are in the hospital.
