Bishkek, Feb. 13, 2023 / Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic - Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov is in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), the press service of the Cabinet said.
As part of the visit, Akylbek Zhaparov will take part in the World Government Summit and speak at the panel sessions "Sustainable Development Goals in Action", "Accelerating Inspiring Dialogues". In addition, a number of bilateral meetings with the leadership of the UAE are planned.
Note that the World Government Summit will be held from February 13 to 15 under the slogan "Formation of the governments of the future." The event is attended by the presidents of a number of states, representatives of governments and international organizations. The program of the summit announced the holding of more than 200 sessions and speeches by more than 300 speakers.
Among the speakers at the summit are co-founder and CEO of SpaceX, Tesla Elon Musk, representatives of Meta, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
The World Government Summit (WGS) is an independent and non-profit organization established in 2013, whose summits are held on an annual basis. When creating the World Government Summit, its organizers positioned the event as an analogue of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Summit speakers at various times included SpaceX and Tesla co-founder and CEO Elon Musk, former US President Barack Obama, World Economic Forum founder and executive chairman Klaus Schwab, Jordanian Queen Rania Al Abdullah, former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, ex-President of the World Bank Group Jim Yong Kim, co-founder of Apple Inc.
