Bishkek, Oct. 15, 2024. /Kabar /. During his working visit to Islamabad, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration Akylbek Zhaparov met with President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari.
During the meeting Akylbek Zhaparov emphasized that Pakistan occupies one of the special places in the foreign policy of Kyrgyzstan.
“We are very interested in the development of trade and economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and scientific and technical cooperation with your country,” he said.
The head of the Kyrgyz Cabinet also stressed that the Kyrgyz Republic and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan actively cooperate within the framework of international organizations such as the UN, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Economic Cooperation Organization and others.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of trade and economic cooperation, exchanged views on further development of investment, energy, transportation, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
