Bishkek, Oct. 25, 2023. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov held a bilateral meeting with Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan for his first official visit.
Akylbek Zhaparov warmly welcomed the distinguished guest, noting that he was glad to meet and personally acquainted.
"I would like to note with satisfaction that the current year has been very active in our bilateral relations. I should note that the state visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to China contributed to bringing bilateral relations to the level of comprehensive strategic partnership. We can confidently say that currently the relations between Kyrgyzstan and China are at an unprecedentedly high level in the history of bilateral cooperation," he said.
In turn, Li Qiang thanked for the warm welcome. He expressed hope that this official visit would strengthen and deepen bilateral cooperation and good-neighborly relations.
During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of cooperation issues of mutual interest.
Within the framework of the official visit to Kyrgyzstan, Premier of the State Council of China Li Qiang will participate in the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the SCO member states.
