Bishkek, July 17, 2024 . / Kabar / . Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov received Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Kyrgyzstan Ali Jabir Muhammad Al-Gufran Al-Marri.
During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Qatari cooperation, including prospects for investment cooperation, implementation of socio-economic development projects, expansion of trade and economic ties and cooperation in the field of health care.
Akylbek Zhaparov emphasized the historical significance of the state visit of Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Kyrgyzstan in 2023. More than ten documents aimed at developing bilateral relations were signed during the visit.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers emphasized the importance of consistent implementation of all agreements reached and proposed to consider opportunities for joint implementation of state social projects in the processing industry.
The Qatari ambassador reaffirmed Qatar's unwavering commitment to strengthening and expanding bilateral relations with Kyrgyzstan.
At the end of the meeting Akylbek Zhaparov wished the ambassador success in his work for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
