Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov, as part of a working trip to the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China, held a meeting in the city of Kashgar with representatives of a number of companies and bank executives, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
“The high level of political dialogue makes it possible to promote economic issues between Kyrgyzstan and the regions of China. Today Chinese companies in Kyrgyzstan are implementing international and infrastructure projects, including in the field of construction, energy, road construction, and airport modernization,” Akylbek Zhaparov said at a meeting with bank leaders in XUAR.
He invited Chinese banks to consider the possibility of investing in Kyrgyzstan and participating in projects for the construction of hydropower, solar and wind power plants.
The head of the Cabinet also met with the leaders of the Sani company and spoke about the favorable investment conditions in Kyrgyzstan.
In addition, Akylbek Zhaparov held a meeting with the management of a large company specializing in the processing, storage and export of agricultural products, located in the Kyrgyz Autonomous Region of Kyzyl-Suu.
An exchange of views took place on the supply of environmentally friendly agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan to China, storage in control warehouses and further promotion to the market.
