The heads of delegations of states that arrived to participate in the exhibition were met by Chairman of the People's Government of the XUAR of the People's Republic of China Erkin Tuniyaz.
The heads of state delegations officially opened the specially prepared China - Eurasia EXPO pavilions.
Member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Ma Xingrui, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and other heads of delegations, as well as heads of major international organizations got acquainted with the products of the world's leading companies presented at the international exhibition.
The exhibition has a total area of 100 thousand square meters and is divided into three areas: exhibition space for investment cooperation, international exhibition space for specialized industries. More than 10 thousand companies in the fields of energy, light industry, digital technologies, agriculture, culture and tourism take part in the exhibition. Also within the framework of the exhibition, more than 60 forums and special events are held.
The VIII international exhibition "China-Eurasia EXPO", aimed at deepening cooperation between Asia and Europe, will be held in Urumqi from June 26 to 30, 2024.
