Bishkek, June 22, 2022 /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov together with heads of delegations participating in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Victory Monument in Minsk.
Further, the head of the Kyrgyz Cabinet familiarized with the activities of the Great Stone China-Belarus Industrial Park.
The Great Stone China-Belarus Industrial Park is located 25 km from the city of Minsk. It is a special economic zone, where 90 residents from 15 countries are registered. The main areas of activity are electronics and telecommunications, fine chemistry and biotechnology, new materials, pharmaceuticals, production of medical products and others.
In November 2021, the Park administration signed a cooperation agreement with Naryn FEZ.
In this regard, Akylbek Zhaparov noted the need to deepen cooperation in this area, including the Bishkek FEZ.
Then, on the margins of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Minsk, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers met with representatives of the Centre for Identification Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, whose main activity is to organize the functioning of information resources, their automatic identification, as well as ensuring electronic document management in the goods distribution networks and e-commerce processes in Belarus.
"The experience of our Belarusian colleagues in identifying goods in the "farm-to-table" format is important to us. We, as an agricultural country with great transit potential, intend to use all resources to develop this industry," Chairman Zhaparov concluded, and instructed the Ministry of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan to elaborate the format of cooperation in the implementation of joint projects.
