Bishkek, May 25, 2022 / Kabar /. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov will take part in the opening of the first Eurasian Economic Forum in Bishkek, the press service of the Cabinet reported.
The economic forum is held on the eve of the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council as part of the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic in the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union this year.
More than 2,500 people representing business circles and government bodies of the countries participating in the integration association have registered to participate in the economic forum.
As part of the forum, discussions are planned on the further development of transport and energy infrastructure, financial and banking policy, industrial cooperation, digital and youth agendas, e-commerce and new areas of cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Council.
More than 30 events will take place within the framework of the forum. The forum includes a plenary session with the participation of the Heads of State of the Eurasian Economic Union via videoconference, as well as 21 thematic sessions. On the eve of the forum, meetings are expected between rectors of universities from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Council, as well as heads of energy, transport, and customs departments of the integration association.
It is planned to sign about 10 memorandums and agreements at the economic forum. As part of the forum, an exhibition of the best agro-industrial products of the Eurasian Economic Council was also organized in front of the Orion Hotel.
