Cholpon-Ata, Aug. 25, 2022. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov took part in the opening of the First Kelechek Youth Forum of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
The event was also attended by Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich.
Speaking with a welcoming speech, Akylbek Zhaparov noted that the youth agenda of the CIS and the EAEU is one of the new vectors of Eurasian integration, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
“This forum is held at the initiative of Kyrgyzstan as part of its chairmanship in the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union. We hope that the youth forum relay race will be continued in the future. Today's forum brought together over 500 participants, the most active representatives of the youth, among them there are people who make a lot of efforts for the stable growth of mutually beneficial cooperation and integration in the CIS and the EAEU space,” he said.
Akylbek Zhaparov emphasized that at the moment it is very important that the younger generation, intellectuals and business accelerators understand the modern role of entrepreneurship, the importance of the profession, infrastructure for the technological breakthrough of the CIS and the EAEU.
“Education and community projects, especially in the field of international economics, robotics and IT technology, present huge opportunities for creative youth. It is important that the Youth Agenda of the CIS and the EAEU is one of the new vectors of Eurasian integration. Further diversification of this area will expand the geography of contacts of our youth with foreign countries, integration regional associations - from South America to Southeast Asia. The practice of recent decades convinces that in a dynamically changing world, those states and organizations that can effectively develop and productively use the innovative potential of development, the main bearer of which is young people, will have strategic advantages,” he said.
The head of the Cabinet also expressed the opinion that the Youth Forum will become a truly effective mechanism for interaction between the CIS countries and the EAEU, young representatives of business and the business community to solve modern challenges facing humanity in ensuring sustainable development.
“I hope that our Forum will become a breakthrough lever for the integration processes of youth in the member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Eurasian Economic Union,” Akylbek Zhaparov stated.
