Bishkek, July 9, 2018 / Kabar /. Greco-Roman wrestler Akzhol Mahmudov became the gold medalist of the international tournament Champions 2018 in Turkey, which was held from July 4 to 7 in Istanbul.
In the first days of the tournament, Mahmudov defeated two athletes - a representative of Finland (8: 0), then Azerbaijan (5: 2). To get the finals, the Kyrgyz sportsman won a wrestler from Turkey with a score of 12: 3.
First place Mahmudov got after winning the athlete from Turkey (16: 8).
Recall that this year Mahmudov won the gold medal at the Asian Greco-Roman wrestling championship at the age of 18.
The Kyrgyz sportsman participated in the competitions in preparation for the summer Asian Games.
