All capital kindergarten workers will be screened before accepting children: deputy mayor

Bishkek, June 4, 2020. /Kabar/. Children's pre-school educational organizations will start their work from June 5, Deputy Mayor of the capital city of Bishkek Tatyana Kusnetsova said during a briefing.

According to her, the Republican Headquarters (HQ for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan) supported the proposal of the Mayor's Office on mass screening by bullet method for all employees of both public and private kindergartens before accepting children without exception.

In addition, Kuznetsova said the city emergency anti-epidemic and anti-epizootic commission has prepared the following projects:

- temporary regulation of activities of children's pre-school educational institutions;

- questionnaires from a parent of a child attending a pre-school educational institution,

- form of parental obligation to ensure the health of his/her child attending a pre-school educational institution.

"The projects are agreed with state bodies and will be binding on all pre-school educational organizations in Bishkek, regardless of their form of ownership.

I call on the leadership of kindergartens to take the issue of organizing the necessary sanitary conditions with full responsibility. We must not allow our children to become infected," she said.

There are 87 municipal, 13 departmental and 218 private kindergarten in Bishkek.
