Bishkek, Feb. 25, 2021 / Kabar /. All regional akims and their deputies will be certified in Kyrgyzstan, Director of the State Personnel Service of the Kyrgyz Republic Abdyrakhman Mamataliev told at a press conference.

He noted that the work will be carried out within the framework of the decree of President Sadyr Zhaparov "On a new state personnel policy".

“The first certification will start on March 19. To carry out the certification, a special commission was created, consisting of representatives of the presidential administration, the government, the leadership of the State Personnel Service, as well as deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh and members of the expert community,” he said.

Mamataliev said that for the first time, officials holding political positions will undergo certification.

“We would like to inform you that the certification will be held openly and with public participation. We will try to make online broadcasting of all processes on the website of the State Personnel Service,” he added.

Mamataliev explained that the certification will take place in three stages. At the first stage, the activities of akims and their deputies will be studied.

“We will also take into account information and criticism from the public. Information is also collected from the relevant authorities. After receiving a complete picture of each, we will begin testing. The first testing will be aimed at determining their knowledge of legislation and their personal qualities. After that, the commission will conduct an interview. After that, the results of the certification will be published. The officials who have not passed certification will be recommended for removal from office,” he said.
