All observation centers to prevent COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan taken under protection

Bishkek, Apr. 5, 2020. /Kabar/.All the observation centers on the territory of Kyrgyzstan are fully taken under protection of internal affairs officers, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.

According health minister’s data, 1 thousand 454 people are placed under observation in order to prevent COVID-19 coronavirus infection.

Center for observation are operate in the cities of Bishkek and Osh, Chui, Dzhalal-Abad, Batken, Naryn, Talas, Issyk-Kul and Osh Oblasts. Full control over these observation centers, as well as the maintenance of public order, is the responsibility of internal affairs officers.

The militia officers serving at these centers are fully equipped with special protective clothing and have no contact with those being observed.

The internal processes of observation are fully serviced and monitored by medical personnel.

Internal affairs officers are fully examined by medical personnel after their shift ends.

As of Apr.5, the number of coronavirus cases in Kyrgyzstan has reached 147, 9 of them are medical workers.

One militiaman has been placed under observation with suspicion of COVID-19.

Two coronavirus-related deaths were registered in the republic.
