Bishkek, Aug. 25, 2021 / Kabar /. All vaccines used in Kyrgyzstan comply with the requirements and recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and international GMP standards, and have also passed the WHO prequalification procedures, head of the Department of Immunoprophylaxis of the Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance in Bishkek Burul Asykbekova told today during a briefing.

She said that currently preventive vaccinations are carried out in Kyrgyzstan in accordance with the National Immunization Calendar.

“In turn, vaccinations are being carried out against 13 infections,” she said.

Note that vaccination is still one of the effective measures to defeat infectious diseases, including COVID-19. We can say that before the pandemic, vaccines and vaccinations helped save lives and defeat various diseases. So, thanks to the vaccinations carried out and the successful development of vaccines, science has defeated the worst disease in human history - smallpox.
