Almazbek Atambayev and Vladimir Putin hold phone conversation

Bishkek, March 20 / Kabar /. Today, on March 20, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation, Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambaev and Russia Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation, the press service of the Kyrgyz president reported.

The two leaders stressed that the consistent development of Kyrgyz-Russian relations, based on historically established friendly ties, mutually beneficial cooperation and strategic partnership, meets the fundamental interests of the peoples of the two countries.

The sides stressed the importance of further strengthening the political dialogue and implementation of all concrete agreements.

In addition, the two leaders discussed plans for bilateral cooperation for the near future, as well as issues of developing cooperation within the framework of the membership of the two countries in the EEU, the CSTO, the CIS, etc.
