Bishkek, July 8, 2020. /Kabar/. A meeting on summing up the work of the Police Patrol Service for the first half of the year, chaired by Deputy Head of Bishkek's Main Internal Affairs Department Erlan Atantayev was held Wednesday.
According to the press service of the Patrol Police, 974 traffic accidents were registered in the capital during the reporting period, which is 22.6% less than last year.
There were also recorded 93 accidents involving pedestrian children, which is 50% less than last year.
In addition, 244 cases of accidents where accident participant was hiding from a scene were registered, of which 137 cases have been solved, the rest are being searched for.
In its short period of existence (was formed in October 2019), the Patrol Service has shown good results in ensuring road and public safety.
The Police Service's work was found satisfactory by Bishkek's Main Internal Affairs Department.
