Almost 2 thsd doses of coronavirus vaccine administered in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Nov. 1, 2021 . / Kabar / . In the last 24 hours, another 1,966 people across Kyrgyzstan received vaccines against coronavirus infection, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said Monday.

Thus, 951 Kyrgyzstanis received the first dose, while 1,015 were vaccinated with the second shot.

In Kyrgyzstan, a total of 978,653 doses of coronavirus vaccine have been administered since the start of the vaccination campaign. Of these, 751,407 people have been vaccinated with the second shot.

The country has started COVID-19 vaccination campaign on March 29 after receiving Chinese donated Sinopharm vaccine. In addition, the country inoculates its citizens with Sputnik V and Astra Zeneca vaccines.

On Oct. 27, the republic received more than 250,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine and 111,600 doses of Sinopharm.
