Almost 300 more recoveries from coronavirus registered in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Dec. 22, 2020. /Kabar/. Over the past 24 hours, another 295 people with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 coronavirus infection have recovered, Ainura Akmatova, the head of the Public Health Department of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry said during a news briefing on Tuesday.

According to her, a total of 73,300 patients have cured so far in Kyrgyzstan.

As of Dec. 22, the country’s tally of infections has reached 79,429 after 175 more Kyrgyzstanis have contracted novel coronavirus.

Kyrgyzstan’s death toll from COVID-19 has climbed to 1,335 as 4 new virus-linked fatalities were recorded throughout the country in the past day.

Currently, 1,472 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals, while 2,429 are being treated at home.

2,890 PCR tests were conducted across the country in the past 24 hours.
